Unforgettable Wedding at Sydonie Mansion: Lauren and Trevor's Love Story

We're back with another Celebrations! love story – the sweet and romantic journey of Lauren and Trevor Hussak. They exchanged vows and began “forever” on October 8th, 2022 with an unforgettable wedding at Sydonie Mansion.

 

How It Began


Lauren and Trevor met 5 years ago. Believe it or not, they fell in love with the help of Bumble! It looks like online dating is the move!



Keeping the sense of love strong, their engagement took place on the beach after a beautiful beach day. Imagine waiting all day knowing you’re going to propose? - the nerves!!


Some of Lauren and Trevor’s favorite things to do are traveling and finding cool cocktail bars. These qualities are clearly evident in the execution of their wedding vision!



Wedding Day


If you can’t already tell from the wedding photos, Sydonie Mansion looks like you’ve traveled outside of Florida to capture even more beauty - they did say they love traveling!

Lauren and Trevor really hit the jackpot with the gorgeous photo opportunities at their venue! They have even shared that the natural beauty of the grounds is what drew them in to booking their wedding venue.



Tying back in their love of cocktails, Lauren and Trevor went above and beyond and really dazzled their guests with their cocktail selections. They wanted to be sure their guests felt like they were fully taken care of and that it truly was the wedding they expected from Lauren and Trevor (and then some!)



One of their favorite memories of the wedding was that every guest (all 130!) got along like family. It was as if everyone truly knew everyone! This is still something their friends and families talk about today <3 That's the goal, right?!




It was so much fun getting to work with Lauren and Trevor! Honestly, when their wedding was over we felt like we were mourning the wedding planning process. We were in each other's lives for over a year! Every moment was special.



As their wedding planner, we always did our best to ensure they were being attended to, their desires being executed and capturing beautiful moments that were unplanned (Yes! Unplanned is okay!). For example we always set aside time for our couples to unwind in private after their photo sessions. This is so important because they will likely never be alone together the entire wedding day!


With that being said, Lauren and Trevor took this concept to the next level! As we were getting all the guests organized at the seats and gathering their wedding party and family to be introduced, Lauren and Trevor snuck a peek at all of their gorgeous work, family and friends. How cute are they!



Wedding Planning Fun!

Don’t just take it from us! Lauren and Trevor were kind enough to share some advice to future couples who are working to plan their wedding:


"Get a planner!!!!!! You think you don’t need one but trust me…you do.


Sophia was the most amazing planner and her team did not miss a beat. Not only did she take care of me but my whole family. They all fell in love with her. I didn’t have to worry about anything on my big day. And if I needed anything at all Sophia was there as if she had the same thought I did. I would marry my husband again just to throw another wedding with Sophia! Lol"



They crack us up! Lauren and Trevor booked the Partial Planning & Design Package. In this, we spent many months together working through the logistics and narrowing every decision. We had way too much fun!
